Students found Professor Furlong to be a very enthusiastic and superior lecturer. His commitment and hard work was portrayed in his ability to communicate ideas in an effective manner. However, students felt that the concepts covered in the class were difficult to grasp. Students also suggested that in the future, lecture material should be more focused and more tutorial sessions would be beneficial.

Overall, students found Professor Furlong to be an excellent instructor who expressed enthusiasm for the course material. They appreciated his direct and clear presentation skills and also the excellent real-life examples he used. They also appreciated the notes and problem sets distributed to them. One suggestion students have for Professor Furlong is to lecture slower so students have more time to digest the material and to ask questions.

Professor Furlong was cited as being an engaging lecturer who was able to explain concepts clearly and keep students attention for all 3 hours of lecture. Students complimented his use of real world examples and found the archive of past exams quite useful.

Most students enjoyed the material in this course and learning from Professor Furlong. There were several suggestions for improving the course, mainly focused on eliminating multiple choice questions and splitting the three hour lecture. A number of students felt the tutorials were generally not well led and lacked value.

Students were generally satisfied with the instruction in this course, but expressed various concerns about the course format. There were a number of comments relating to the 3-hour lectures that some students felt were excessive. Others commented that the multiple-choice questions were excessively difficult. A number of students expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the TAs.
