Students found that Professor Cheng taught very well in lecture, but suggested he be more receptive to student concerns when they visit during office hours. However, students found the he was an excellent resource when emailed for help.

Students appreciated the numerous examples given in class. One final and one midterm accounting for 80% of mark was found to be overly stressful. Students warn that assignments are very challenging. Students would have liked more notes on board (to go along with lecture) and supplementary lecture notes on web.
