Students in this course were quick to note the experience and wealth of knowledge offered by Professor McDonald. Some students noted that the professor rebounded very quickly from an injury that side-lined him for part of the term without undue impact on the class, while others felt he was hard to reach during office hours and that marking was delayed, probably related to the same event. One student went out of the way to caution that this is 'very much a B-level course' and did not recommend the course to first year students.

Professor McDonald was a great instructor of an excellent course. Overhead notes were often hard to read . Also, assignments were often handed back late when they could have been helpful for studying.
