Students found Professor Simpson to be an interesting instructor. They appreciated the fact that he focused on and used 'real life' examples and applications to teach. Students particularly enjoyed his tutorials as they found it exceptionally helpful for learning the material. Some students felt that there should have been more sample questions and answers to help them with assignments. They also felt that solutions to assignments should be made available.

All students who commented agreed that Dr. Simpson was an engaging, interesting, and enthusiastic lecturer, even when the material was somewhat dry. Several students found the lecture pace to be too fast. All-but-one comment included the words 'good,' 'great,' 'excellent', and/or 'amazing.'

Many students found that they would benefit if the course and the lab section were combined. A little more enthusiasm during presentation of the lecture was suggested as a way the instructor could improve the learning experience in this class.

Students felt that a more creative way of presenting course content would have enhanced learning in this class. However, the course material itself was interesting and the notes in class were a good summary of concepts in the book. Students would also have liked to have seen more examples in class that relate to questions on assignments.
