Professor Giri was cited as being friendly and understanding however many students commented that the Professor didn't seem to be providing his full attention to the course and that he often seemed confused. Students were disappointed with the frequency that classes were cancelled and some felt as if they weren't getting the value they expected due to the fact that when class wasn't cancelled, quite often there was student presentations going on and so the Professor still wasn't teaching. The overall learning experience had mixed reviews with many students stating that the material covered was the same as the second year ecology course.
