Students in this course felt that the material was well presented, with detailed notes and a structured lecture format, but other conditions made learning somewhat difficult. Many students noted that a break during a two hour lecture is required rather than optional, and that they found Professor Shaver difficult to approach. Some students felt that grading on exams was rather harsh, while others praised the detail provided. Overall, students were pleased with an effective learning experience, despite difficulties.
